We are a smaller family company, which was established in 2003 and started as a firm providing bookkeeping services. Obtaining a licence in 2004, we enlarged our portfolio by tax consultancy services (licence number SKDP 730/2004). Currently we keep books of small and middle-size businesses. Our clients include both Slovak and international companies, mainly from the area of industrial trade, information technologies, international cargo transportation, pharmaceutical business, legal services, advertising and travel and tourism. Since 2005 we have been closely co-operating with a prestigious company of similar focus from Prague, rendering bookkeeping and tax consultancy services to their clientele with business activities in Slovakia. Vice versa, for our clients we can arrange for economic services in the Czech republic, such as VAT refund, tax registration, bookkeeping of a local subsidiary or a branch office, etc. Co-operation with us in a nutshell: Bookkeeping First of all, our goal is to keep your books in order to provide you with the real picture of your economic result, based on which we subsequently obtain a correct calculation of tax. On regular basis, each client receives an economic result overview together with an analysis of individual costs and revenues in electronic or paper form. If requested, we shall develop a structure of costs and revenues so that you can monitor the pre-defined kinds of costs or revenues, based on your needs. Each client receives an overview of liabilities and receivables structured based on the due date. These overviews we deliver in electronic or print form, following the monthly or quarterly closing. We possess extensive knowledge and experience with processing monthly, quarterly or annual overviews for foreign companies in required structure either in English or German language. Simultaneously, we may furnish you with the outputs from our local bookkeeping (ledger, balance sheet, profit and loss statement, analysis of the economic result) in English. Since some of our clients are subjects to audit, we are experienced in the co-operation with auditors, both with Slovak companies and the Big Four accounting firms. Since our inception, some of our clients have undergone tax inspection and not even once we have encountered any serious reservations on the side of the tax administrator. After the annual closing we provide our clients with the bookkeeping in a well arranged “paper form” (or upon request in the electronic form), containing all the cases occurring during the accounting period, including the accounts inventory and financial statements. Such document file is fully sufficient in case of tax inspection or the client may take it to the tax office even “on the way from our office”. Tax and accounting consultancy We inform our clients on all significant legislative changes in time via e-mail. Short e-mail or telephone questions are commonplace, in case of more complicated issues, these are solved via an official stand or in the most complex cases we address directly the Tax Directorate for consultancy. Based on the power of attorney we can represent our client in front of the Tax Administration, as for filing a tax return, solving disputes or tax inspections.
Tax return, mandatory reports and overviews, and annexes to tax return are prepared in electronic form in a special program and may be delivered to the client in a PDF format. Statements prepared in this form may be used for submission to the Tax Office or filing applications for a loan or leasing. This is our way to try to relieve you of your accounting and tax burden and take over the responsibility for any related matters. After all, it is our job.
Nobody is perfect and neither are we. Since also in our business it is very true that only those who do nothing never go wrong, we have made sure we always stand on the safe side and concluded an insurance contract at Wustenrot to compensate our potential mistakes of up to 70,000 €.
